This course was offered in German in the summer term 2023. It provides a practical insight into the technique of conducting interviews. The course begins with the basics of interview forms, techniques and sampling. The focus will be on issues such as subjectivity, reflexivity, ethics and participation. Practical exercises are linked to the ongoing research project VISION, in which different actors (experts, organised civil society, mobile workers) are being interviewed in three locations in Berlin and the surrounding area. Course participants will have the opportunity to actively participate in the ethnographic research.
