Magdalena Nowicka and Piotr Goldstein represented the VISION Team at the European Association of Social Anthropologists biannual conference ‘Doing and Undoing with Anthropology‘ that took place in Barcelona between 23 and 26 July 2024. Magdalena and Piotr presented jointly two presentations: Convivial research with mobile workers: whose politics for fair future? and Tracing Immobilities and Parallel Future-making in the Polish-German Border Region. Piotr has also co-conveened two panels entitled ‘Political anthropology of citizenship and the urge for ‘‘alternatives’’‘ as part of his engagement in the EASA Anthropology and Social Movements Network.
