Members of the VISION team, Kyoko Shinozaki, Bianca Szytniewski, Cristina Buza and Maria Bołdok, participated in the 23rd IMISCOE Annual Conference, “Strengthening Migration Studies through Community Engagement”, which took place in Girona, Spain, between 29 June and 2 July 2026.
They co-organised / actively contributed to the following sessions:
- Panel “Ecologies of Living Together in Rural Places”
- Panel “From the “global” South to the “European” south: Intersecting inequalities of agricultural migrant labour in Southern Europe”
- Workshop “Mobility as Migration Pedagogy: Insights from the EuMIGS Double Degree”
These contributions highlight VISION’s growing engagement with international debates on migration, rurality and mobility.
